Tip before you lose your phone

Signing in to UT requires text message verification which could be a blocker when you just lost your mobile phone. You can set up a backup verification code to prepare for this kind of inconvenience.

Here’s how:

1. Go to UT app and tab your profile picture on the top.
2. Tab “Settings” and go to “Security” at the bottom.
3. Activate “2-step verification”.

We recommend saving the backup code somewhere safe but not on your mobile phone.
