Delete my Uber account

Before deleting your account, Uber may ask you to verify your identity by sending a temporary verification code to the mobile phone number registered to your account. Follow the steps below to delete your account from the app.

How to delete your account from the app

1. Open the Uber app and tap the menu icon at the top.
2. Select ‘Settings’ and then ‘Privacy’.
3. Tap ‘Delete Account’.
4. Follow the remaining steps in the app to complete the necessary steps.

If you go through all of the above steps, your account will be deactivated immediately.You may recover your account by logging in again within 30 days. However, after 30 days, your account along with any owned credits and promotions will be permanently deleted.
