To sign up to deliver with a bike or by walking, review the below requirements carefully to make sure you’re eligible.

Basic requirements (may vary by location)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid, government-issued photo ID
Setting up your account
- When signing up, select Delivery with bicycle or on foot under “Choose how you want to earn with Uber”
- Provide your name, social security number, and date of birth in the Driver app
- Upload a valid, government-issued photo ID and a profile photo
- Complete a background check
- Background checks typically take 3-5 business days and are conducted by third-party providers. At that point, Uber reviews the report to determine your eligibility on the Uber platform.
Valid forms of photo ID
Acceptable forms of photo ID include:
- Driver’s license
- State ID card
- City ID card
- Other government-issued documentation containing your photo that confirms your identity
Please make sure:
- The document image is clear and all text is legible
- All document edges are visible
- The document is not expired
- You submit an original photo of the document. Scanned documents are not accepted.
